Gilbert Gambucci, Music Lesson/Performance

A music teach-in and performance of participants:

1/ Morning hour piano lesson:  A first piano lesson class (or classes) for beginners of any age. We'll learn to play Paul Strein's Occupy Wall Street Song at the piano. (It's a very easy straight forward piece of music).

2/ Afternoon session:  Learning the words and how to sing the same piece, The Occupy Wall Street Song.

3/ Any evening: a performance of this song (by the participants) at the piano (4 hands) together with the vocals, and possible audience joining in.

  2. Yes. Would like to see this at Brik gallery as there is a baby grand piano, though it could also be good at the Catskill Community Center with a portable piano, where I am hoping to have lots of family friendly events where and there is also a stage. Maybe he would like to be involved in producing a larger "Consiousness Concert" which incorporates this piano lesson/performance.

  3. Again could see this as part of the workshop series of events. Might be better to do at the Community Center as we want to avoid too much crowding of Brik Gallery?

  4. yes. maybe one-on-one sign ups for piano lessons in the am and then a group sing in in the eve - handing out lyrics to everyone? i like Brik because of the space and piano is already there ... also like the idea of a larger concert / performance with others.
